The Very Beginning.
I never really thought about this track a lot. It wasn't a tune we did much live, and I only listened to it again recently. When I did I immediately decided that we should do it at our reunion coming up this weekend as part of the OK Hotel Family Reunion at the Royal Room- (Pigpen plus Guests is on Sunday, Feb. 28th.)
Matt Cameron will be drumming on it along with Mike Stone, and I have added some horns, doubling some of the parts so that I can concentrate on emulating the various overdubbed tracks.
The "written" section begins with the 1/4 note bass part. I had lost any and all charts so I ended up spending more time than I had transcribing my own music. It probably took me longer to transcribe it then to compose it.
